I'm not getting it...

Well this is pretty embarassing for me, but i can't figure out what to do after logging in at sirens.roothack.org.

I tried to find the /hints/ directory but couldn't. :/

Could you give me a little hint on what to do next?

Find out what other boxes are on the network. cat /etc/hosts or maybe read this
